BootIt Next Generation is a multi-boot manager that lets you choose the operating system that will load when the computer is started. It can also be used to partition the disk and to image its contents.
The number of primary partitions you can create using BootIt Next Generation is around 200; the number of hard disks that can be booted from any partition or volume is eight. It can also boot two or more operating systems that are located in the same partition.
BootIt Next Generation supports large hard disks, of up to 2 TeraBytes. The partitions can vary between one and two TB. Supported older formats include FAT, FAT32, NTFS, EXT2, EXT3 and ReiserFS. The system boot is carried out from a diskette or disk, which can be a CD or a DVD.
You can also create, format, resize, and eliminate partitions form within the application itself.
